Joey and Lucy Pitcher's house out on Pitcher's Point.  Joey came to Merasheen around 1896 from Hopeall to fish on a schooner for Billy Best.  He was a skilled boat builder and around 1901 he acquired the former Best's hay meadow on Pitcher's Point in return for rebuilding their schooner.
