Owned by Albert Warren Sr. from around 1924, it was named after his daughter Winnie. When he rebuilt the boat in 1934, buying most of the supplies from Freeman Wareham in Spencer’s Cove, he added Freeman’s newborn son Eric to the boat’s name. Eric Bolt bought the Winnie and Eric around 1942 and fished off Merasheen with his father Sam and a shareman for about 25 years.
