In the foreground: Clem Best's house; behind that is Lar Pitcher's house (built by Tom Best); behind that is Angus Pitcher's house (occupied by Joe Connors and Lambert Connors previously).  To the right is Tom Best's meadow (looks like a game of rounders being played!).  The wire fence separates the Priest's meadow and that fence was to keep the sheep out of the Priest's Meadow and to keep Monsignor Fyme's goats from getting out, which didn't always work...(He had yokes around the necks of the bigger ones to keep them from jumping the fence, but once in a while one escaped).
