Age 71. Family and friends of Ronald Pomeroy said a loving farewell to him at this home as he passed to his new life on July 9th, 2000. Relatives and friends will cherish memories and celebrate his life. He will be missed especially by his loving and devoted wife, Gennie (Power), and his sons and daughter, Ron, David, Bill (Laura) and Elaine (Dominic) Howard, who have lovingly cared for him and have been a support for him and one another throughout his illness. His grandchildren Roby, Shannon, Jenny and Brett will hold happy memories of their Poppy R.J. even as they fret his absence from their lives. Ron will also be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Pat (Angela), Placentia, Leona (Bill) Jarvis, Don (Violet), Dunville, Stella Wilson, Trepassey, Sister Ida, Sister Nellie, Kevin (Betty), St. John's, Father Bill, Kelligrews; sister-in-law; Loretta Thenn, Florida; brothers-in-law; Pat (Emeria) Power, Stephenville, and staff and clients of Pomeroy Insurance Agency and Metro General Insurance Corp.. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visiting hours 7- 10 pm Monday, July 10th, 2000 and Tuesday 10 am - 10 pm., July 11th, 2000. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road, Wednesday, July 12th, 2000. Time to be announced later. |
