ENNIS, Vincent - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick s Mercy Home on January 5, 2000, Vincent Ennis, aged 88 years. Vince, formerly of Red Island, Placentia Bay was a Veteran of the Merchant Marine (#8749) during WWII. Predeceased by wife Mary (Min), (1999); and son William (1957). Leaving to mourn twelve children: Elizabeth (Arthur) Herbert, North Carolina, Mary Ennis, Truro, NS, Norah (Robert) Ingulli, Long Island, N.Y., Vincent (Lucy), Goulds, Nellie (Gerald) Devereaux, Mount Pearl, Clarissa (Stan) Lafitte, Port au Port, Rita (Leonard) Clowe, Middle Cove, Teresa Walsh, Victoria, B.C., John (Gertie), Victoria, B.C., Peter (Aveline), Kitimat, B.C., Jerome (Teresa), Goulds and Sheila Ennis, Victoria, B.C. Also leaving to mourn 30 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Resting at Caul s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Wednesday 7-10 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, January 7 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the NF and Labrador Spina Bifida Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. January 06, 2000
